The Website Build Process

1. Ideas and Design

It all begins with the idea, whether it is for a new business or if you'd like to re-invent an old website, we'll be able to advise you on how to make the most out of your website and what the best solution will be

Once you've decided to build a new website, it's time to start thinking about how you want it to look and what you want it to do. Are you going to be selling products online? Are you going to write a monthly blog? Write a list of everything you want your website to do and keep a list of other sites you've seen that you like the look of

2. Build

We'll begin to build your website using the Drupal platform. You'll need to supply us with all relevant content and images for the pages. If your site is E-commerce, we'll need a list of your products and their details. You'll be kept up to date on the progress and we'll work with you every step of the way to make sure the website is what you want

3. Quality Assurance

Now your website is built and your happy with the way it's looking, we'll run it through our Quality Assurance (QA) process. We'll check the website looks the same across all browsers, all functionality works and it generally looks acceptable to go live on the internet.

4. Go-Live

The website's built, it's passed QA and now it's ready to launch on the internet. The only thing we'll ask you to do is ensure that you have access to your domain name, as we'll need to change this to point at the correct server.

5. Support and Training

Now your new website is up and running on the internet, it's time to think about what you're going to do with it. We will provide you with initial training to show you the basics of managing and editing the website content through the Drupal content management system.
