Getting the message “Please try again in 5 minutes” ?

The error ‘System Message : Sorry, we were unable to satisfy your request at this time. Please try again in 5 minutes.’ needs to be resolved in the web browser.

This error occurs when browser cache data has become corrupted.

When corrupted data remains in the browser cache errors and poor performance will continue until it has been cleared.

To clear the error, you will need to log out of webmail using the ‘Logout’ button then clear the browser cache and re-open the browser.

Using the ‘Logout’ button before clearing the cache is essential to resolve this error because it closes the webmail session so that the browser cache can be effectively cleared. Corrupted data remaining in a browser cache can cause problems that continue even after re-starting the PC.

Each of the web browsers has its own location and default settings for clearing the browser cache.

**In Chrome click the Menu button [the arrow at the top right of the Chrome window] choose More Tools – Clear browsing data. Leave the default items checked. This clears the browser cache but does not clear saved passwords.

**In the Firefox menu click History | Clear Recent History | Everything or click the Menu button [the 3 lines at the top right of the Firefox window] and choose Library | History – ‘Clear recent history’.

**In Edge click the menu (three dots -top right) -then select “Settings” Then click on the padlock icon for “Privacy & Security”.  Then select “What to clear”  – You need to clear the first 4 items, but we suggest not to clear passwords from your browser, unless you wish too.

The default items selected clear the cache , cookies, browser history and active logins. Passwords saved in the browser are preserved.

To log back into webmail after active logins have been cleared , typing the first 2 letters of the login name displays a drop-down list where the login name can be selected and the saved password [displayed as asterisks] is entered.
